Ergonomics
How it works
Ergonomics focuses on designing workplaces and tasks to align with the worker’s physical capabilities, which enhances comfort, safety, and efficiency. In collaboration with physical therapy, ergonomics helps workers by:
Workplace Assessments
Ergonomists evaluate the physical demands of tasks and identify potential risk factors for injury.
Task Modification
Recommendations are made to adjust tools, equipment, or workflows to reduce strain on the body.
Improved Workstation Design
Properly designed workstations can minimize awkward postures, repetitive motions, and excessive force.
Training Programs
Workers learn proper lifting techniques, safe movement strategies, and ways to use ergonomic tools effectively.
Early Intervention
Ergonomic evaluations help identify and address issues before they lead to injuries, promoting long-term health.

Blood Flow Restriction
How it works
Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) cuffs work by partially restricting blood flow to a limb during exercise. These cuffs are typically placed around the arms or legs and inflated to a specific pressure, limiting venous blood return while allowing arterial blood flow. This creates a low-oxygen environment in the muscles, which forces them to work harder even with lighter loads. The restricted blood flow leads to a buildup of metabolites like lactate, which triggers muscle fatigue faster. This, in turn, stimulates muscle growth and strength adaptations similar to high-intensity training, despite using lower resistance or bodyweight exercises.
Benefits
Blood Flow Restriction: Smart Cuffs
Muscle Growth (Hypertrophy)
BFR training promotes muscle size increases even with low resistance, making it effective for rehabilitation and those unable to lift heavy weights.
Strength Gains
Over time, BFR helps improve strength, similar to traditional resistance training
Improved Endurance
The metabolic stress from BFR can enhance endurance by increasing capillary density and improving muscle oxygen utilization.
Joint & Tendon Protection
Because it requires lighter loads, BFR training reduces strain on joints and tendons, making it suitable for individuals with arthritis or joint pain.
Increased Growth Hormone Production
The metabolic stress from BFR stimulates the release of growth hormones, which can aid in muscle repair and recovery.

Shockwave Therapy
How it works
Extracorporeal Pulse Activation Technology (EPAT) uses high-energy acoustic pressure waves delivered through a handheld device to target affected tissues. These shockwaves create microtrauma at the cellular level.
Pain Reduction
Helps alleviate chronic and acute pain by disrupting pain signals
Faster Healing
Stimulates tissue repair and regeneration, shortening recovery time.
Non-Invasive
No surgery, anesthesia, or downtime required.
Improved Blood Circulation
Enhances oxygen and nutrient delivery to damaged tissues.
Breakdown of Scar Tissue & Calcifications
Restores normal tissue function by reducing fibrosis and abnormal calcium buildup.
Minimal Side Effects
Generally well-tolerated with only mild discomfort or temporary redness.
Cura Medix: Shockwave Therapy
Benefits

Graston Technique
Stimulates natural healing through controlled microtrauma.
Reduces pain and inflammation.
Restores normal tissue function and mobility.
Graston Technique
How it works
A form of Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) that uses specialized stainless-steel tools to detect and treat soft tissue injuries by breaking down scar tissue and fascial restrictions.
Benefits

Normatec Compression
Pain Relief
Reduces muscle soreness and stiffness.
Faster Recovery
Speeds up healing by improving circulation.
Non-Invasive
Uses air pressure, no drugs or surgery needed.
Improved Circulation
Boosts blood flow and lymphatic drainage.
Swelling Reduction
Helps decrease fluid buildup and inflammation.
Comfortable & Safe
Gentle, adjustable pressure with minimal risks.
Normatec Compression: Enhancing Recovery and Performance
How it works
NormaTec compression therapy uses dynamic air pressure to massage the limbs. The system features inflatable sleeves for the legs, arms, or hips that apply pulsing pressure in a sequence, mimicking the body’s natural circulation process.
Benefits

Dry Cupping
How it works
Dry cupping is an alternative healing technique that uses suction. A therapist places a glass or plastic cup on the skin, and the air inside the cup is removed, creating a vacuum. This vacuum pulls the skin and underlying blood vessels into the cup, which causes the skin to redden and sometimes bruise.
Dry Cupping
Relieves Pain
by reducing muscle tension and discomfort.
Enhances Circulation
aiding recovery and healing.
Promotes Detoxification
through lymphatic drainage.
Inflammation Reduction
Helps decrease inflammation in muscles and connective tissues.
Enhanced Flexibility & Muscle Relaxation
Improves joint and muscle flexibility while alleviating tightness and spasms.
Benefits

Manual Therapy and
Percussive Therapy
How it works
Manual Therapy and Percussive Therapy
Manual Therapy
Pain Relief
Both therapies help alleviate muscle and joint pain by reducing tension, relaxing muscles, and promoting relaxation.
Improved Mobility & Flexibility
Increases range of motion in stiff joints and muscles, reduces tightness, and enhances overall flexibility.
Faster Recovery
Speeds up healing by improving circulation, breaking down muscle knots, and promoting tissue repair.
Reduced Inflammation
Helps reduce muscle inflammation, swelling, and discomfort post-exercise or injury.
Enhanced Blood Flow
Boosts circulation, delivering oxygen and nutrients to muscles for faster recovery.
Stress Reduction
Relieves tension in the body, promoting relaxation and reducing stress.
Improved Posture & Alignment
Corrects misalignments and restores balance in the musculoskeletal system.
Manual therapy is a hands-on treatment technique used by therapists. It involves the application of specific pressure, stretches, and movements.
Percussive Therapy
Uses rapid, targeted vibrations (e.g., massage guns like Hypervolt)
Benefits

Kinesio Taping
How it works
Taping therapy uses adhesive tape applied to muscles, joints, or ligaments to provide support and stability. It lifts the skin, gently pulling it away from underlying tissues.
Kinesio Taping
Benefits
Postural Support
Encourages proper alignment and posture during movement or rest.
Swelling Reduction
Supports lymphatic drainage and circulation, helping to reduce swelling and inflammation for faster recovery.
Pain Relief
Reduces discomfort by providing support to muscles and joints, helping to alleviate pain.
Stability and Mobility
Provides stability to weakened or injured muscles and joints while supporting functional movement and enhancing mobility without restricting the full range of motion.
Injury Prevention
Offers extra support during physical activity, reducing the risk of further injury or strain.
Faster Recovery
Helps reduce swelling and inflammation, speeding up the healing process.
